MEF, a global industry association of 200+ network, cloud and technology providers driving network transformation to power the digital economy, is looking for a Sales Executive to execute the organization’s sales strategy for a variety of products available to its member companies.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Sales Executive will have significant experience and a proven sales track record within the telecoms industry, complemented by strong leadership skills. The focus of the Sales Executive responsibilities will be the sale of principal memberships, certification programs and event sponsorships with the overall goal of increasing the company's ecosystem of companies and revenues.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the MEF executive team to refine and execute a granular sales plan for the noted product areas.
- Engage a significant number of ongoing inbound leads from a variety of sources.
- Research and target new prospects as agreed to in the sales plan.
- Track all sales activities in Salesforce and report on sale progress to the MEF staff team.
- Efficiently utilize the MEF executive team and other resources in the pre-sales and new member onboarding processes.
- Attend pre-determined industry events to meet with existing members and prospects.
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with member companies while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
- Contribute to the development of sales collaterals and value propositions for MEF products.

Required Experience
A minimum of 8-10 years sales experience in the telecoms industry. Experience selling BSS or orchestration-related solutions would be an asset.
This position is remote. Travel will be required to attend and support industry events and MEF meetings/events.
