MEF, a global industry association of network, cloud and technology providers driving network transformation to power the digital economy, is looking for a Marketing Programs Manager to develop and execute an ambitious set of marketing programs related to the release of new MEF works, MEF events and the evolution of corporate branding. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and resourceful with impeccable leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities

Brand Management

  • Evolve and execute MEF’s brand strategy in concert with overall strategic objectives.
  • Ensure alignment of all corporate marketing programs and activities with brand strategy.

Marketing Strategy and Programs

  • Contribute to the establishment of marketing objectives, strategy and plans and products and event-related programs in cooperation with MEF staff and leadership in support of MEF goals and priorities.
  • Establish KPIs, where possible, to measure performance against objectives of both the high-level strategy and specific marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Provide regular, executive-level reporting on planned initiatives and the effectiveness of the major completed initiatives.

Marketing Communications and Automation

  • Oversee the utilization of marketing plan assets – social media presence, blogs, podcasts, campaigns, website content & messaging, PR, presentation development & presentation library management, collateral, member communications, etc., reporting where appropriate against set KPIs.
  • Define and oversee select staff and contracted marketing resources, which currently include web development and evolution, SEO/SEM, content creation, marketing operations support, social media, graphics development, and development.
  • Evolve existing marketing automation (Martech) stack tools and processes to automate and scale the execution of activities to the highest degree possible.
  • Support Business Development with lead generation and sales enablement tools. 

Key Skills/Competencies

  • Proven ability to think strategically and creatively, converting an organization’s short-term and long-term objectives into actionable marketing activities.
  • Proven multi-tasking and project management skills, organizing concurrent marketing initiatives, allocating resources, managing deadlines, and overseeing performance.
  • Excellent analytical skills, determining appropriate KPIs and deriving insights from the available data to determine whether an initiative was successful.
  • Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of the telecoms industry.

Required Experience

  • A minimum 8-10 years’ marketing experience
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the telecoms industry 

This position is remote. Travel will be required to attend and support MEF meetings and events.
